Road NYC asserts in court documents acquired by TMZ that the firms' names are very similar.
And the consumers are becoming confused as a result.
Tomorrow [Tuesday, June 21], Road NYC's lead litigation attorney Lisa Simpson
and Sutcliffe LLP's Orrick Harrington & Partners released a comment.
It stated: "Last week, Ms. Bieber introduced a range of cosmetics utilising Rhode's exact same brand.
She did this despite being aware of the road's prior rights and the fact that Ms. Bieber attempted to purchase the road mark from the road four years earlier.
suddenly appeared out of nowhere, but he continues, "The law is unambiguous on this:
You can't just use your name because you want to induce this type of brand confusion.
Road NYC co-founders Poorna and Phoebe also shared a joint statement on Instagram,
which read: "Nine years ago, we quit our jobs and set up the road from our apartment,

Built the RHODE brand, and put years of hard work into our minority co-owned company.
