‘Charmed’ and ‘Soap’ Actor Rebecca Balding Dead at 73
Veteran film artist Rebecca Balding has died at the age of 73.
She was best known for her part in the original Adorable series and soap.
The actress suddenly moved to Park City, Utah after a battle with ovarian cancer, her husband told USA Today.
Balding, who lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, studied acting at the University of Kansas before starting her theater acting career in Chicago.
She made her television debut in 1976's The Bionic Woman, after relocating to Hollywood.
And from 1978 to 1980, he played Carol David in regular roles in the comedy soap.
The show was a parody of the daytime soap opera and also starred Emmy winners Billy Crystal and Richard Mulligan.
She has appeared in several well-known series, including Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place, Designing Women, 7th Heaven and Family Ties.
While many people may only be familiar with her from the popular sitcom or as Alice Rothman,
Alyssa Milano's Boss in Charmed, she starred in those shows as well.
