It might be difficult to let go of things at times. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe like Chris Evans' Captain America,
and they don't want him to leave the franchise. (By the way, two things can be true at the same time; you can enjoy both the Evans
and Anthony Mackie versions — which I do completely and completely.) I simply wanted to get that out there right now.)
Chris Evans played the character for so long, in so many films, that it's difficult to let go of not only his performance,
but also the character's significance in our lives. Two versions of a superhero may exist at the same time, as shown in the trailers for "Thor: Love and Thunder,"
the next instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Thor Odinson (Chris Hemsworth, another great Chris) and the Mighty Thor (Natalie Portman).
Could the Evans version of Captain America make a comeback with the Mackie version?
It's logical that people want to witness this, and even more so because they're unsure if it will happen.
Characters die all the time in comic books and come back in some form or another. Consider the "Death of Superman" comic series.
Of course, he isn't still alive. It reminds me of science fiction. No one ever dies totally. So, how does Captain America, played by Chris Evans, fare?
